What does Mochi Kemono do?

JAPANESE MOCHI is one of the most traditional and delicate sweets enjoyed by the Japanese people during festivals, such as the New Year celebration in Japan, as it symbolizes good luck. Mochi can be made in a variety of flavors and not only filled with ice cream, everyone can find their favorite and enjoy it. Although mochi is not new in the UK, Mochi Kemono is dedicated to creating new and unique flavors to enhance customer experience and choice.

Our hand-made mochi has received 100% positive feedback from our customers. We take great pride in our products. While our selling price may not be the most competitive, our quality justifies it, making our business sustainable and allowing us to maintain excellence.

Our Company

MOCHI KEMONO, a sibling business, was co-founded by Sarah and Ricky. They were greatly influenced by Japanese culture, particularly its cuisine, during their formative years. Witnessing the increasing popularity of Asian culture in the Western world inspired the conception of MOCHI KEMONO.

We pledge that all of our ingredients are sourced locally in the UK. Quality is paramount to us, and it is the foremost factor we consider when selecting ingredients. We prioritize technological advancements and logistics to continuously enhance the quality of our products.

about us Mochi Kemono

Okinawan Shisa (シーサー) and Mochi Kemono (ケモノ)

The concept of MOCHI KEMONO is derived from a traditional Okinawan cultural artifact and decoration – the Shisa (シーサー). Often seen in pairs, they resemble a cross between a lion and a dog. Shisa are considered wards, believed to protect from evil spirits. Our MOCHI KEMONO not only brings good fortune to our mochi lovers but also spreads joyful life spirits with our mochi collections.
